General Rules for Forum – Applicable to all that Register
By registering at the Florida Tourist Information Resource Forums, you agree to the following terms.
Florida Tourist Information Resource reserves the right to remove any posting it finds unsuitable.
1. There will be no excessive use of profanity.
2. There will be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations.
3. Pornography, Warez, or any other illegal transactions may not be posted or included in members profiles.
4. Images & attachments may be posted as long as they are not explicive or offensive.
5. Advertising, commercial-related or competing products are not allowed.
6. Do not attack any staff they volunteer their time to help users, and abuse towards them will not be accepted.
7. The decision of a moderator is final. If you think you have been treated unfairly by the moderator you may ask for an appeal.
8. If you have a complaint in regards to a staff member or user please contact the webmaster.
Owners Rules:
1. 'Passing' enquiries is forbidden on this site, ie if you pass an enquiry from orlandovillas.co.uk to someone who should not get that enquiry (ie who does not have a villa listed on this site). This applies to both direct enquiries to your villa and surplus enquiries posted on the forum. These enquiries are for registered owners on this site only. Any enquiry which you cannot accommodate, must be posted on the 'surplus' owner to owner section of the forum for other registered owners to view : these enquiries must not be passed personally between owners on the site – they must be posted on the owner to owner section for all registered owners to view.
2. If you view an enquiry in the owner to owner surplus and decide to respond (you must only respond if you have the dates within a week of the dates required-do not “spam” guests with “future reference” emails) you must post that you are contacting the guest. In the Owner to Owner section, you are not required to post if you cannot accommodate the enquiry.
* Any enquiries with no responses after 48hours will be moved to the relevant sister site (either ov.co.uk or vro.com)
3. In the ov.co.uk Family section, ALWAYS POST when you view the thread - ie if you are taking enquiry AND even if you are not.
4. If your guest has asked for a specific estate, please post as normal on the owner to owner section and if after 24hours there is no response and you want to help the guest further, please email info@orlandovillas.co.uk for further action. Do not make the decision yourself to contact an owner from outside this site. The webmaster’s decision is final on this issue.
5. You must detail that you are responding to their enquiry via www.orlandovillas.co.uk or www.vacation-rentals-orlando.com in your responses to the guest. You can only use your website address in your response if you have no direct links to any other rental site. If you have a website with such prohibited links, please direct the guest to your listing on either of our two sites – do not direct them to any other webpages of any other villa listing website.
6. Recommendation of your own realtor is prohibited. If asked about a company on the main forum, you may comment (although be very aware of possible libellous comments). This applies to MC companies too.
7. Signatures : you may list your link to your webpage on either www.orlandovillas.co.uk or www.vacation-rentals-orlando.com. Only moderators are permitted to list their website in their signature.
8. The rules for banner image signatures: a banner should not advertise non-ov.co.uk site and should be a max of 300 x 60 pixels.
