Thanks, That is what was on mind, as the properties are developing pretty fast, the developments will eventually run along side each other.
So it will just be a matter of deciding where you want to holiday as a family.
We will just have to wait and see what happens!!
We may have to consider a resale, but it is not quite the same as having a new villa!!
It must be a fantastic feeling when you put the key in the door for the very first time knowing that it is all yours!!
Cheers

Hi Andy
I own on Southern Dunes and it doesn't appear to deter the guests, in fact SD is an area which is developing with plans for road and commercial
developement. In fact check out this thread.

Obviously there is a limit people will travel to and fro perhaps you could consider a resale somewhere. Good Luck
regards
Tim

Yes,as Lisa and Steve I baught on Highway 27,Glenbrook resort and that is a ten minute drive to Disney. If the proposed new road is built,it will be a
straight one mile route to Disney...can't wait!
In some ways it makes me laugh, when we are asked or advertise that Disney is 5 minutes,10 minutes, only 20 minutes...when you think of how far we have
to travel here in the UK to get to a destination that can not even compare to Disney!!!
But I suppose it's that old supply and demand factor!

Just saw this thread and I think that in the very competitive time we are going through it is very essential to give the guest what they paid for.
Guests should make sure that the price they have been quoted does include the 13% taxes the owner has to pay on top of all rental. Also if the guest
wants to have pool heating this is usually extra as owners have higher untility costs, so make sure the money you pay includes this too.
But..........................
If you are renting a villa or condo, remember that it does not always pay to go for the very cheapest place you get offered. Some owners charge a bit
more because they have to pay community fees for a resort clubhouse, so if you want this sort of facility then it is worth paying a bit extra to get
it.
Some owners spend a lot more than others on the extras in their home such as nice furniture, upgraded mattresses, new towels and linen, inflatables
for pool, games machines, upgrades fridges with ice/water dispensor, safe for valuables, extra sun loungers, up dated DVD's, TV's for all bedrooms,
free internet connection, free telephone calls, free baby equipment etc. If you want all these things then it is worth paying a little more to get
them by renting the right place.
Where do you actually want to be during your stay. If you are a golfer then a community with a golf course is prob the best place to stay and it is
worth paying a bit more to do this. If you have a very young family and want to visit Disney then why stay at a community which is a long drive away
and waste hours of holiday time on the road in the traffic, just to get a bargain. You save up all year for this holiday, and lets face it the actual
accommodation is very reasonable whereever you stay in Orlando.
So please consider all aspects, and not just cost when renting your holiday home.
