Sea Screamer at Clearwater Beach
Has any one been on this boat ride recently? It sounds really good especially as they promise Dolphin sightings. Are there any special tips, such as
where to sit and what time of day/best month to book? This is something we are considering to do this October or next Feb.

This is one of the best speed boat trips we have been on. The dolphins follow the wake of the boat as it slowly travels up the coast. It then turns
and the speed boat element kicks in. The captain can soak anybody onboard but if you sit right at the front you should be OK. You are in the openair
so I think October or Februarywould be great to do this.

Thanks Lynne. It sounds great. We wanted to spend a day at the coast and this would break up the day nicely. Did you pre book from home or ring them a
few days before? Or can you just turn up? Sorry about all the questions but once we are out there we will have a better idea about the weather and we
want to visit the beach on a nice sunny day.

We just went over in the morning and booked for one just after lunch. If it is not too busy you can just walk on. I am sure you will really enjoy
it.

Well I finally managed to experience the Sea Screamer this October and I wasn't disappointed! It was such a lovely day out and to see the Dolphins in
their natural habitat was just magical. My children loved it too. Unfortunately at one stage we had a couple of annoying jet skiers trying to ride the
wake and therefore scaring the Dolphins but everyone on the boat shouted for them to go and they eventually got the message!!
Afterwards we had a lovely lunch and then went to Clearwater Beach. You can literally park up for the Sea Screamer, walk and get lunch and then walk
to the beach it is all a stones throw away. A great day out which certainly helped slow down the pace after several days at the parks.
